Rest Awhile on new seat

The Ribble Banks Parish Council has donated £500 for a seat for the residents and visitors of Rathmell village so they could ‘Rest Awhile’ after walking up Hesley Lane or via the Back Lane from Rathmell, which has also been renovated with a donation from the Ribble Banks Parish Council (see article on the Back Lane).

Locals did the ‘ground work’ and the bench was supplied by ‘Sweepwise’ of Todmorden, who specialise in recycled plastic, making all kinds of things you would think were made out of wood.
