You will have noticed that our defibrillator is now installed on the Reading Room wall by the bus stop.

The ambulance service will be holding a free training session in the Reading Room on Wednesday 19th September at 7.30pm. It’s really more of a familiarisation session – demonstrating how to open the cabinet and alert the emergency services, showing us what’s inside the cabinet and how to use the equipment there before the emergency services arrive on the scene. Nothing too scary!

Please do come if you can, and spread the word to friends and neighbours. The more people that know how to use the equipment, the better we will be prepared for an emergency.
