Meat and potato pie supper – a Great evening at the Reading Room

We live in times of uncertainty and upheaval… but you know where you stand with a meat and potato pie supper.
You stand on an unbroken line that extends back to the 12th Century, maybe to Wigan. Of course, it was probably just called a pye of meate back then, potatoes not yet having arrived in Europe (or Britain).

Lucy will bring delicious pie and peas to Rathmell Reading Room, and a vegetarian option is available on request. Tea and coffee included, but bring your own drinks.
