Year 6 at Rathmell Primary School have chosen the Church Repair Fund as their Charity this year.
They are holding a charity event on Wednesday 23rd March at 2pm at Rathmell Primary School. They would like everyone to come along and support them. They are having the following stalls, bric-a-brac, cake stall, hide the slate behind the grid, tombola, lucky dip, how many sweets in a jar, a quiz and a raffle. If anyone can donate anything for the event they would appreciate it. Items can be taken to School or left at the back of Rathmell Church.

Rathmell School Christmas Lunch

The people of Rathmell who help the school on a voluntary basis, were asked to the Christmas meal as a thank you for their work.  It was very much appreciated by all who attended and especially by the children when ‘seconds’ were offered!

Rathmell School is a Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School, which means that it is set up by a voluntary body, usually a church body and in this case the local diocese, largely financed by the Local Authority. The governing body employs the staff and controls pupil admissions and religious education.
