Macmillan Coffee Morning

The Macmillan Coffee Morning was held in Rathmell Reading Room on Friday 25th September when about 40 people came to support us.

They were served coffee & home made cakes, which went down a treat!

This year was the first time that we had had a plant stall which seemed very popular and ‘guess the number of silver balls on the cake’ the winner of which won a cash prize.

We raised £472.09 (which included a village collection) for the Macmillan Nurses Charity.

My thanks go out to everyone for their help and support in making the event such a success.
